Right after a tough series against Phillies, Mets lost their opener against the Yankees last night, off an error committed by Luis Castillo. What should of been a routine catch, proved to be the deciding factor in this loss.
You Yankee fans still can't say anything, this should of been a loss . Put that in your heads!
INSTEAD of having their heads between their legs, Metropolitans showed their resilience and clobbered the Yanks 6-2.
Pitcher Fernando Nieve had dominanting performance, shutting down the juggernaunt Yankee offense. Their only run came from an A-rod homerun, and even that barely left the field. Amazin's won on a collaborative effort, getting homeruns from Omir Santos and Gary Shefield. These pickups from OMAR MINAYA, make him look like a genius.
Ready to redeem himself from his prior mishap, Luis Castillo had two hits. I'm sure he'll have no trouble sleeping tonite.
Gasp* Finally the Mets win.
