The Mets, depleted and considerably tired from last night, lose to the Phillies in 10-innings, spoiling Tim Redding's 2nd straight soild contribution on the mound.

Luis Castillo and David Wright had brilliant games recording three hits each and providing early offense for the Mets. More like the only offense. We need SLUGGERS OMAR!

The Mets should have easily won all three games of the Philly series, in my opinion. Thanks to the disastrous bullpen, this did not happen.

Be happy Mets fans, at least we not in the slums in the standings, we're only a win streak away from taking command of this divison. This series proves one point, the injured Mets can compete with the Phillies and give them a run for their money. I see this series as one the Mets can build upon and look back, lets face it, the Mets should of won all three of these games.

Now the Subway Series....

Both the Yankees and Mets came off losing series against their archrivals. Tommorow, they will face off, in the annual Subway Series classic with bragging rights at stake. With Livan Hernandez on the mound tommorow, he's going to have his hands full with the Yankee bats. Regardless, I think the Mets will pull off a win tommorow...
